One of the advantages of an electric driven prop, is the ability to drive it into coarse pitch in the event of power loss.  The 3 blade Mt has a #1200 controller which is wired parallel to the master switch, it has it's own inline fuse at the battery to protect the wireing, and a hand controllable circuit breaker switch in the panel.  So, loosing everything, engine, alternator and  electrical master switch, the prop can be driven to coarse pitch with battery alone using the Mt 1200 controller.  Another two cents.....Don Skeele N320J   235/320
