Also got to see a fine example of a 320 belonging to Dominic Crain, well done Dom she's a beauty!

Having spent the day at the airshow I was inspired to fly up country to work, approximately a 2.5 hour flight from Melbourne. All went well except the gear needed cycling after take off to get the nose gear door to close. When I landed the hydraulic gauge showed a 500psi in the up line. Cracking the dump valve had no effect. This is by far the longest flight I've made since installing the high pressure gauge (no low pressure gauge).

All previous flights were at most 1 hour duration and selecting gear down caused the hydraulic pressure (high side) to read zero as it should.

Has anyone experienced this..is it Gremlins? Effect of temperature change? cosmic rays? reversed spool valve? extra terrestrial interference?
