We all drill holes in our exhaust to mount or EGT probes.  It's=20 important that we have them equidistant from the cylinders, but....
 
How much difference in temperatures would, let's say, 1/2" in placement= =20 make?  Not from cylinder to cylinder, but from airplane to airplane.
