The 700’ MSL value does not change it much. 1290F is not conservative. It is getting close to normal. You really want to be somewhere between 200 and 300 ROP at full power. What is your fuel flow during these exercises? If you cannot calculate an estimated BSFC above 0.58 lbs/hr/hp, it is probably not rich enough. 0.60 would be “nice”. Regards, George
