Check it out at: _http://www.airventure.org/2005/events/avcup/_ (http://www.airventure.org/2005/events/avcup/) More importantly, this is your chance to appear in an international publication (if you register early enough). The following paragraph was copied from the race details: Race Registration: Race applications will be available from EAA, starting March 1, 2005. Any aircraft certified in the Experimental Category and meeting race class requirements will be allowed to apply. An application fee of $200.00 must be submitted with the completed application. The race registration fee will be refunded if the race committee does not accept the application or if the applicant cancels in writing by June 15, 2005. Applications postmarked after June 1st will NOT be considered. The race committee reserves the right to limit the number of race entries in each class. The race entries will be publicly announced in the July 2005 issue of SPORT AVIATION. Notice the last sentence - how else can you and your airplane become internationally famous? But, you must register early enough to meet the publication deadline. Grayhawk Getting older and faster every day. PS: Remember, this is a real test of pilot and plane - not 5 minutes around pylons, but sustained hi speed activity across 410 NM.
