What size intercoolers were you using and where did you put the second one?  (besides the usual left front cowl hole?)
 
Would you care to guess what temp you are getting out of the cool side when you are at low altitude?

On my E, I teed off the bleed. Went thru one intercooler to one side of the mix valve. Ran the other side of the tee to a second intercooler to the other side of the mix valve. We got way too cold at altitude with the mix at full hot. So we now tee off the bleed directly to the hot side of the mix valve. We run the other side of the tee thru both intercoolers then to the cold side of the mix valve. Works great lasts a long time!
