I asked you to hypothesize any different mechanism. You
have not
done that. All you did was post a bunch of non-responsive
advertising
hype.
Whether the electrical charge comes from a
capacitor, battery,
lightening strike, or a mag makes no difference.
You have yet to
postulate how that can make a difference if the timing is
not altered.
Are you really suggesting that if the timing (or effective
timing) is
not altered these effects are seen based on the source of the
electrons? You don't really claim that do
you?
Walter,
All I said was "Electronic ignitions and "fine wire" plugs each can also
reduce EGT temps .........."
This statement comes from personal observations, comments made by others
and yes, material describing generic electronic ignitions and exotic plugs,
including claims made in the "hype" about PRISM.
I don't have to hypothesize why these events occur or the physics behind
such observations. If anything, I should be chastised for not mentioning
that mis-timing (advancing) the engine can also cause lower than expected
EGTs.
Finally, if the source of the electrons and the resultant flame kernel
cause a more complete burning, thus giving the appearance of earlier effective
timing, so be it.
