Approximately 1500 degrees is the "ballpark" value assuming the probes are placed in the standard location - about 4 inches from the exhaust flange.  Further away could yield cooler temperatures.  Electronic ignitions and "fine wire" plugs each can also reduce EGT temps and, as I have both, I generally see peak EGTs of about 1400-1410.  At best power below 80% I generally operate near 1290-1310.
