Gang,

OK, right now we have 7 guys interested in training according to my 
list.  If we can get to 10 people, that will make for a nice round $150 
event fee to cover the costs of the Instructor Pilots (we have 5 
committed so far), and the small amount of administrative organization 
stuff it requires.  If everyone wants a T-shirt (I'll take two!  Nice 
job Don!) the fee will be $165.   I imagine by the time it's all said 
and done, the #'s will be higher than 10 "studs"....in which case we'll 
put the money towards a drink fund, or some such, or we can cut you a 
check back.  Please respond back to me ASAP on the T-shirt.  You can

You know, I do these events several times a year and I always marvel at 
the cost.  Less than $200 for 2-3 days of highly specialized training 
and way more fun than you'd have on a day with no crowds
a Disneyland, even!   Can't beat it....

The hotel is set at $75/night (was given erroneous info the first 
go-round, but I'm still gonna try to work 'em lower).  Call to make 
reservations now, as the hotel is apparently filling up.  I blocked 12 
rooms (8 kings, and 4 double queens) under "Lancair Formation Clinic".  
The Conf. code for the kings is 17100 and for the queens is 17101.
