This analysis is very interesting (not to mention, alarming). And
it is a subject that I have very little knowledge about. One additional
topic that I have not seen discussed on LML is the effect of the addition of
the winglet wingtips to the Lancair IV wing. What are the effects with
regard to the stall/spin characteristics that might be predicted with the
winglets? Of the L-IV’s that have been involved in the
stall/spin/splat incidents…how many had winglets?
