Insert this Mandatory Service Bulletin, SB-05-001, into the Lancair 300/350 Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), Section 5, in front of chart titled "SHORT FIELD TAKEOFF DISTANCE (12°-TAKEOFF FLAPS)". Use the takeoff chart to determine the initial takeoff roll distance and increase that amount by 65% for the actual takeoff distance. Increase the takeoff 50ft. obstacle distance by 50% for the actual takeoff distance. All other data is correct including speeds, wind and weight effects. That is one heck of a change.
