The catalog identifies them as GM010-B. The "B" must be the
later version - non-breaking.
To me, the springs are a backup (not the primary) to a
failure of the hydraulic system and, after more than 750 cycles, neither spring
has broken. However, none of this matters if "gear down" is not selected
before actually landing - believe me.
