Are these the "rat trap" springs? The ones that circle the over
center link leg pivot bolt where one end clips over the link and the other
enters a hole drilled in the leg? If so, what "inside washer?" Do
you have a picture?
1. If the washer causes the spring to bind and have no power, remove the
washer.
2. If the spring is just too weak, get new ones from
$47 for the pair.
Call Lancair and talk to Tim Ong so that he gets you a copy of the install
instructions.
