That was 1945. It's not a new concept. Being able to make it work properly and being cost effective may be a new development. Here's hoping. So far, there have been several attempts at this. While they have worked, none has proven worth the extra expense and complexity in aircraft engines. They can be a maintenance nightmare. (ask the guys who work on FiFi. IIRC, they've switched them back to carbureted engines.) Walter
