Colyn,

The new turbocharged Columbia 400 was certified with the "new" Scimtar prop, HC-H3YF-1RF/F7693DF.

The prop I ordered through Lancair for my ES/IO-550N was the PHC-J3YF-1RF/F7693DF.  That's the same prop that's currently listed on the Lancair website.  That's also the same prop that's on the Cirrus SR22.  The original Columbia 300 was certified with the old Hartzell prop, but the all electric 350 has the "new" Scimtar.

The Lancair Website lists the HC-H3YF-2UF/FC7693DF for the IVP with the TSIO-550.  The "FC7693DF" is the "new" blade.  So I think Lancair is selling the "new" version.

I ended up talking to a guy at Hartzell that was involved with designing and testing the newest Scimtar propellers.  He said the one on the Cirrus was the newest and greatest.  The Columbia 350 wasn't certified back then.

I have attached the Hartzell document that shows what all the numbers mean.
