 recall, the front bulkhead can be spaced forward with washers a little
 to make the fit.  I don't recall any adjustment using the front cap.  In
 any event call RV or use the RV mail list...lots of good folks there.

 cap.  From the diagrams in the book it looks like the center bolt and
