Wow Gary! Spectacular job. Are those chromed hinges on the oil door?
You've given me some needed inspiration. I'd like to see this airplane in
person. Where are you?

Hey thanks. The oil door hinges are aluminum that I cut out of angle
stock. As with a lot of other pieces, I got carried away on the
buffer. That's one reason it me 3 times longer to build the plane than it should
have.
When looking at other Lancair's under construction, I always say:
Endeavor To Persevere. It will be worth it.
I am always at the Labor Day Lancair BBQ fly-in at Redmond. And,
you are always welcome here in Medford (MFR). 9,000 x 150 foot
runway and parking in my carpeted hanger. The hanger
refrigerator is always full.
