Yes I know some think it's ugly etc., etc... But, it defines where (non-pilot) passengers can and cannot step. Also, it isn't slippery, and will not move. The ES is a big step up and down from the wing. I bought mine from the folks that sell the electric trim (who's name escapes me at the moment).. Check their web site. This is nice stuff, as it is plyable and they cut it to a custom length for you too.
