Need some quick assistance on this one.
Does anyone have any drawings and or pictures of the correct location of
the 56-3A Lancair 320 wheel/brake combination, that you can send me
straight away?
The changeover started today, and the engineers/mechanics came to a
dead-end when they found the drawing supplied was insufficient to
accurately location the installation of the callipers, and they stated
that the end result of their reading of the Grove drawing included in
the kit, would require removal of the wheel, axle, and the lower gear
door to replace the brake pads, all of which was one of the reasons for
getting these things in the first place.
They and I looked up the Grove website, but could not find any detailed
drawings or pictures of the installation procedure which clearly
identified how to put the wheels on in the correct position.
Meanwhile my aeroplane is stuck far from home (70 miles), and I had to
walk home, and walk back to get it when it I finally complete, assuming
it gets finished. ( Actually, my wife did pick me up, but refuses to
take me back to pick it up).
Obliged for any assistance. I wonder if any else has had this problem.
