Is it possible to get the IVP manuals (PDF?) prior to the decision to
purchase the kit?  Are they even available this way, or has it got to
be binders and binders of printed materials?

I've heard from a number of builders that the manuals are quite a bit
out of date, and can lead to some confusion - but that Lancair factory
support has been wonderful, and that they love the company.  That
part's real nice to hear!  Jody L. there in sales has been quite nice,
 and is very responsive.

I'm puttering around learning composite construction now - and am
planning to build a 23 foot boat starting in a few weeks.  That'll
take a couple few hundred hours.  May build a Rans or other LSA
category airplane after that, THEN the IVP (if/when BRS is available).
Having a light sport aircraft would be interesting because I can
become a LSA CFI, and it could provide some rental income and right
 seat training time.
