Great post Fred.  The most annoying part about flying long distances is the
noise and vibration created by that big fan pulling that old farm tractor in
front of your seat.  Active noise cancellation in a cockpit could also
double the ambient din if it gets out of phase.  Best noise reduction? The
Williams Jet Powered Lancair 5!
