Yes. I've had success in the past with
avgas. You must soak the silicone rubber for an hour or so for thin
sections and longer if thicker. Obviously, this only works on surfaces
that might not be damaged by the gas. I soaked a paper towel in the gas
and proped it against the surface that needed cleaning. The rubber absorbs
the gas, swells up and looses much of it's strength. I could then scrape
it off with a fingernail or similar soft tool.
