The leading edge of your flaps should just be touching the trailing
edge of your wing. It looks to me, in the photo, like you have about 60
degrees of flap set.

For the last year I have limited my flap usage to about 35° and have
less problems than with 45° of flap setting. I believe that your flap
setting in degrees is way to high.

Yes, that is the full flap down position and I only use it for preflight and boarding passengers. I, too, only use about 35 degrees of flaps for landing due to the stick force required to maintain my pitch attitutde. Thank you.
