This past weekend a Glassair builder walked in to my hanger for a
visit. During this visit he proceeded to tell me that the LIV's
fuel system is very dangerous. Prone to vapor lock and that the
position of the boost pump is wrong. He claims that the boost
pump must be below the level of the tanks. I remember a few
months ago their was a big discussion regarding the 320/360 fuel
system but no comments about the LIV's. I always felt that the
LIV's system was very straight forward. Very much like the
Mooney's fuel system.
I would appreciate any comments from those builders who are
flying and whether their system is by the book or modified.
