I had the same brake shuddering problem at about 100
hrs. It was enough to trigger nosewheel shimmy. After the nose
strut anti-shimmy mod was installed the shimmy was gone but the shuddering
remained. I then got new rotors from Lancair and shuddering went
away. Still OK at 650hr. I do experience some fade on hard
braking. I have a set of Grove brakes on order and will report on
them soon.
