After taking two others flying, we have all come to the = agreement that it is not a nose wheel shimmy - it has to do with the = main wheels and the brakes. The shudder only occurs with braking, and is = worse with harder brake application. My Lancair 360 has the Matco's. I'd like to hear what you guys think. My A&P/pilot friend thinks I = should replace the brake rotors and see if that helps. (Anybody know the = part numbers off hand?) That does seem to be a good idea. The airplane = only has about 392 TT, and I am awaiting new tires and tubes from = Aircraft Spruce (Nov deliv- backordered...). Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.
