Next time I am at the airport & have time I will use your method to see how my wings compare. I have the slow build kit and my jigs were built from plywood using a NC mill. The jigs should have been accurate to .001. The mill was programmed using the CAD drawings from Lancair. The Lancair drawing themselves are not correct in that the lines for the templates do not always intersect - off at most by ~ .010, but had to be corrected before the NC software would accept it. I built 2 sets of jigs so I could build both wings at the same time and get them as symmetrical as possible. I will let you know how my measurements come out.
