Scott,
I grew up in Chicago so the seat in the car was in a different position summer and winter. Now here in Louisiana it is just hot and very hot. Have not flown barefoot but sometime I would like too.
You never know who is going to fly your or what you will be wearing when you do. The more comfortable you are the better you fly.
