The response has generally positive. I'm curious at what price point a light weight (<5 lb) 40 degree FOV day/night HUD would be compelling to Lancair owners. Should it be self-contained, or interface with the Chelton and Avidyne units? Our plans include certification, but I'm curious how this would factor into your collective purchase decisions. We would anticipate the system would be retrofitable to existing airframes. Finally, what flight phase and weather would you find a HUD most useful? What if we were to include air traffic 3-D graphics on the display through a mode S interface? Thanks for your help with our informal "market research"... it's interesting that the topic of HUD's should come up. Regards Tom Low LNC2 N31CD
