Best FBO experience I have had in 24 years. There were plenty of replies so check the archives. We stopped at Centennial (KAPA) as it is closest to the destination. TAC Air http://www.tacair.com/apa.asp was recommended and were treated very well. They initially parked us (1957 182A) on the flight line between two large business jets, brought out the rental car and we were off. Of course they moved the plane to the back 40 later. They can get you crew rates at local hotels and will fill you in where the cheaper self-serve gas is. We arrived from the North and ATC vectored us around various stadium TFRs after some initial impatience at our lack of knowledge of the local landmarks.
