Has everone painted their wheel wells and belly pans with gas tank sealer? thanks larry
Larry,

I painted mine (320) and door accessible compartments ( i.e. aileron bellcrank area) with spray cans of White Krylon during the construction phase (circa 1992).  White makes inspections and cleaning much easier.  However, although no weight was added, the pinholes were not sealed either.

If I could do it again, I would definitely use the Lancair fuel tank sealer (and maybe coat it with white epoxy paint) - I am sure I have added composite-destructive weight in the belly pan area with hydraulic fluid leaks that soaked in.  The fuel tank sealer can be brushed on and "automatically" smooths out to a beautiful gloss finish.  It is indestructible.

Go for it!
