It works just fine as long as the battery is fully charged. I usually just leave it plugged into an automatic trickle charger. My only complaint is that the tires are a little small to get traction in the snow/ice we have here (POU) in the winter. Aviation Consumer had a piece about motorized towbars about five years ago, and I followed their advice buying the nose wheel version of the Tail Dragger Dragger. It was, as I recall, also one of the less expensive ones. Electric vs. gas powered? I havea slight incline up into the hanger which makes it difficult to hand-push back in without 2 people. < < <
