Yes, I bought the multifunction Whelen light fixture, A600 and cut it in 3
pieces.  I mounted the nav light section at the leading edge on the wing
tip, the strobe section at mid wing and the tail light at the trailing edge.
Of course, some fiberglass-epoxy work is required to make the pieces fit and
look good.  This method was used on the original red Lancair that was owned
by Neico.  I can send you a picture if you are interested.
