Has anyone tried installing white lights in the trailing edge of the wing tips? If so what did you use for lights? I would also like input on landing light options. Yo Robert, The easiest, least expensive and fastest (although probably least elegant) way to put on nav lights is to use the all-in-one units that have wing lights (red-green) tail light (white) and strobe all in one unit. I have the standard GE landing light bulb installed in the PVC pipe in the cowling. In addition, I mounted Tim Ong's lights on my gear legs. I've made many night landings using only the GE or only the Ong's. Both are perfectly satisfactory. With all three lit up, it looks like a DC10 landing. For a retrofit, I'd go with Tim's gear leg lights for ease of installation. Bill Harrelson 5zq@cox.net N5ZQ LNC2 O-320 Dogwood Airpark, Fredericksburg, VA
