Have you shortened the control stick tube.  I cut almost 2" off because the grip was too high anyway.  This helped in the clearance issue.  Also you can shorten or lenghten the aileron crossover tube on both ends.  This will also move the control sticks inboard or outboard some.
 
You should also note that I don't think you will ever use full control input.  After flying my airplane for over 40 hours I am amazed how little control input is require to have large effects on the airplane.

What have been the myriad solutions to fitting the pilot's side control stick so we can achieve full rear elevator travel with the stick full left?
 
The manual calls for a 20 degree stick angle.  That didn't work, so I increased it to 25 degrees.  My knuckles still hit the sidewall & door frame (trimmed to 1 1/4").  Maybe surgery on my left hand? Fly from the right side? Cut and weld the sitck?  If so a straight bend inboard? Or an "S" bend/weldment?
