Manassas Virginia (HEF) is another good place to fly in to DC.  HEF has
a light rail station on the field, that connects to the WDC subway..
Gaithersburg MD (GAI) is also a possibility, although very busy with
training activity.  All three (HEF, GAI, and Leesburg) have rental cars.
