Larry was killed in Aberdeen, SD when he had an apparent power failure and couldn't put it down anywhere. He was on the way to OSH. I was at the tent that Sunday eve waiting for him. > I flew it and it handles very much like the ES. Has dual controls and center > sticks. Larry will certainly be missed - he was involved with Express for many, many years. He and Paul started Express Aircraft in 1998. Since that time there have been many, many mods to the kit to bring down the number of build hours. I have an older kit and I can tell you that I would love to have one of the new ones. There have been a lot of hours chopped out of the process. As a result of the positive changes Larry and his crew have put into the kit they continue to grow. A builder has bought the company and has instituted quite a few changes to the way the company is run and which, to an outsider like me, seem to be positive. Sales continue to come in and their builder assist is always busy. It is a great way to get alot done in a hurry. I wish I could afford to do it. As it is, I continue to plug away. Well, that's probably more than you Lancair guys want to know anyway. Back to the resin....!! Jeff Dingbaum PA28-180D Express Ct 7% done __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
