I can go into any grocery store in our area and find stainless pot
scrubbers.  If I remember correctly they are between $1 & $2 each and come
in little plastic bags (one brand comes 2 to a box).  Takes 3 to fill my
separator.

Martell,

I think that you may be thinking of iron scrubber pads. I went into over 30 grocery stores in the Detroit area and couldn't find any stainless steel scrubber pads. I also could not find anyone who knew where to get them. Believe me, I didn't want to spend the $130 that I had to for 2 pads.

Your separator is full of oil the iron is not as critical as stuffing your exhaust shroud. If you use iron in your exhaust shroud, it will rust away in a very short time. I personally use the Scotch brand green scrubber material in my separator.

I didn't try Wal*Mart. I will try there in the next week and report back.
