John Barrett gave an accurate description of border crossing procedures
..and they are painless. They're even more painless than described..customs
is based at Windsor,so one will land, the tower will taxi you to the customs
area near the tower, you'll be asked a few questions and that will be it.
Then taxi 500 yds to the ramp area in front of the Windsor Flying Club and
you will be directed to a tiedown area. There will be no fees for
parking,landing or tiedowns for the racers. That fee for the ATC services,
however will apply. On return to the U.S., I find it easiest to got to
Detroit City, or if going south, to Sandusky. Each is very convenient.
