I also used the Aero Enhancements
glareshield lighting on my ES and am very happy with it. The first
attached photo from Ron Hildebrand's web site shows them under my
glareshied. The second shows the controls for the lights, which are the
toggle and knob on the right side of the photo.
These lights work not only off the
aircraft's power, but they have a clip that you put a standard 9 volt
battery into that will serve as a backup power source for up to six
hours. In the event of a total electrical failure, the
backup feature will allow you to light up your whole
panel.
