I changed the way the archive is stored on the server from one 121Meg file to 21,831 little files (one per message) This makes makes it easier to mirror the server to the off site backup box as it only needs to copy the new posts. well the digest software thought all 21,831 messages were new and started sending them to the 279 digest users.. I stopped the digesting and reset the counter sat morning... well, the software is smarter than me and reset the counter and finished where it left off sunday morning before I awoke.. if any of those digest users had email quotas under 150Meg, I bet it filled them up, and bounced an error to my server that suspended the users subscription. 1) if you are a digest user who couldn't find the new content in the flood of old content, look at the archives: http://lancair.net/lists/lml/ 2) if you are a digest user who wants to reset their bounce counter, reply to the reminder you get, or send mail to lml-digest@lancaironline.net and reply to the email it generates. http://lancair.net/lists/ my public apologies to the digest users who had to delete 121Meg of junk email. -- Utopian Maturity: Eternity, Liberty, Equality now Fraternity & Altruism.
