John,

My 320 weighs in at 1200 Lbs empty, 1800 (maybe a few more) Lbs at Gross with
the following characteristics:

Empty    -- 385 Lbs on each Main.
Low Fuel and a Pilot -- 500 Lbs on each Main.
Full of fuel, people and baggage -- 722 Lbs on each Main.

Will the shocks handle the range 500 to 720 Lbs? (including landing forces?)

If they depress approximately 2 inches, does this endanger the leading edge
of the middle door?

During a recent gear test (on jacks), I noticed the back-edge left-middle
door sticking on the gear opening.  One-third of a turn on the donut pre-load
bolt gave me a 1/16th inch gap on the door to fuselage fit (no more
sticking).  In addition, the sides differ by about 1/8th inch and they also
differ 1/8th inch from Lancair's 1989 installation directions.  What would be
the range of adjustment?
