I am adding electric aileron and rudder trim to my 320. I do not want to use the trim device that is attached on the trailing edge of the aileron and/or rudder like a little playing card dangling in the breeze. I want mine to be a smaller version of the trim tab on the elevator (integral).
Are there any problems that I'm unaware of? What size should the integral aileron trim be? What size should the integral rudder trim be? Is the placement of the trim tab on the control surface an esthetic issue, or are there other issues to consider?
I'd like my trim to be effective from stall speed to 220 knots in all axis. Your advice please
I'd like pictures of aileron and rudder trim installations.
