The switch to the Grove brakes was a bolt on swap on my bird. It has the Outback gear. The kit comes with new wheels so I bought new tires and tubes also. I also replaced the first 12" of nylaflow tubing with 303 hydrolic hose.
The actual swap took less than an hour each side. Everything fit no problem. Robbie Grove did advise that in some cases you may have to take a little matreial out the the inside of the gear door. I did not have to do that.
In my case easy fix with great results.
