They paid me a surprise visit here in = Tehachapi and calibrated the AHARS box. It is the Crossbow unit and was = recently leveled. The techs who leveled it made a new bracket of = aluminum but they used seven steel AN4 bolts with AN960 washers and = AN365 nuts. Not only that but the unit, mounted on top of the 208 = bulkhead, had the SCEET 3" air hose from the tail fin resting on top = of the box, a natural induction coil made of steel. No wonder the SFS = had a hard time correcting. But correct it did. It took about tem = minutes but it would finally find itself even with those bits of ferrous = metal in very close proximity. =20 Long story short, I had removed the bad influences and they calibrated = the system. They flew away at about 4:30pm with just enuf daylight to = make Corona, CA, their final destination.=20 That kind of service really makes one happy. These guys are dedicated = to their customers' satiafaction.
