I finally found exactly what you described. I did take me by surprise, because I thought that I had done that before.........;-). Guess I didn't. What are the odds of always picking up the straight plate the same time everytime? I boggles the mind...haha. I took delivery of my kit last July. There are only a few parts with the peel ply still on. The seat bottoms, the two halves of the vertical stabilizer, and the wing tips. There may be one or two others, but the major parts have none. I also found the peel ply very easy to remove on the parts that have it on them. Just pry one corner up with an knife, and grab and pull. One other thing that the factory did with my kit that I thought was absolutely great was provide two panels for the wheel doors that were already bubbled out to provide room for the Outback gear. Also, they provided instructions and drawings for a two door system. Kudos to Lancair! Thank you for your response about the brackets. Guess the old addage check or measure 3 times then cut or install once is a basic truth. Curtis Krouse N753K
