Several builders have remarked that at low air speeds there is very little flow of air from these ducts into the cockpit and that in some instances, air is actually sucked OUT.  Do any of you think that air flow into the cockpit could be improved through these ducts if the various openings in the cockpit closeout ribs could be sealed off with boots?

I have no leaks in my cockpit. I have sealed, with old inner-tube, all of the holes into my cockpit and put 1/4" foam around the canopy for the winter. My NACA cockpit vents work very well at all speeds even high speed taxi. As a matter of fact, in flight, about 60% of my cockpit noise is from the NACA air inputs.
