Since March 25, Ty Ross has accumulated over 4 hours on his L-IV with a 750 shp PT6A-27 gas turbine engine in it. The aircraft was built by Chuck Kugendahl who can be reached at 214-394-3259. Chuck did a beautiful job. Ty states that the aircraft is as stable as a rock. It is quiet and smooth and it flies like a rocket. Power is applied gradually on take-off and the aircraft rotates at 110 kts. To land, it must be flown on. Ty has had the aircraft up to 12,500 feet and it cruises at 260 kts with minimal power settings. At this speed it burns 36 gph. Climb rate is over 5,500 fpm. This is one of the world's fastest propeller aircraft. If you want more infor see my web site at www.aircraftdesigns.com You heard it first on the LML. Marty Hollmann
