Thanks to all who made the suggestion to move the pump = from the firewall to under the seat.The job was not to difficult as I = was able to use the existing line from the selector valve to forward of = the firewall.The problem developed when I repositioned the pump it began = a small leak.(Just touch it and it breaks). No big deal since it was 9 = years old and should be overhauled at 10, I took it to Dukes for an = overhaul.WORD TO THE WISE; Dukes was very accomidating, but charged = $460.00 to overhaul. Kit-planes charges $430 for a new one. Live and = learn.Pump works great now and primes immediately. PS. the drain = (overboard fitting) must be on the bottom.incerely,Fred N.
