If you have a uni-bit you could make a small square or hex or octagon of
aluminum with the right size hole. Cut hole first
then trim. but I see Aluminum AN960 washers with I.D. of up to 3/4" in the
Aircraft Spruce Catalog. There are suppliers that have them up to 1 1/4" ID
and if they aren't available as AN960 then you can also look for NAS1149.
Unless you are building a seaplane, the cad plating on a steel washer should
do. Aren't some of your fittings going thru your SS firewall?

What is the right washer to use with aluminum bulkhead fittings (such as
AN832-8D)? There are a couple of places where the nut bottoms out
because the rib or bulkhead is too thin. The catalogs don't have
aluminum washers in that size, and I assume steel is a no-no (due to
galvanic action).
